Eating half-cup of baby carrots everyday can do wonders to our body particularly to our skin. Carrots is good for eyeballs and good for clearing up breakouts because of vitamin A. According to Howard Murad, M.D., associate clinical professor of dermatology at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine, carrots helps prevent the overproduction of cells in the skin's outer layer. That's where dead cells and sebum combine and clog pores. Another reason to snack on carrots is because the vitamin A also reduces the development of skin-cancer cells.
