I read this good article about soybeans. It says soybeans are rich in vitamins, minerals, fiber, omega 3 fatty acids, phytonutrients and protein. In fact, the soybean is a high-quality, complete protein source. Soy Provides bone and heart benefits too. The whole soy is rich in isoflavones. It's a plant-based compounds with antioxidants properties. This isoflavones are thought to be responsible for some of soy's health benefits, including bone health. According to FDA, incorporating 25 grams of soy protein per day into a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may improve heart health.

Avocado
If you are one of those people who likes to eat avocado, good for you. For those who do not and wants to drop body fat, you may want to start eating avocado now. According to the mag I read Avocado are full of monounsaturated fat, which isn't generally stored as body fat. They also contain other compounds that can boost fat loss. The first one increases the production of thyroid hormone, which increases metabolic rate. The second one is mannoheptulose, a sugar that (Ironically) blunts insulin release. Since a higher metabolic rate burns more calories, and high insulin levels are associated with fat storage eating 1/2-1 avocado per day can help you lose those extra lumps. You can use avocado to make a good drink or just eat it the way you want it. This is one way to help you lose weight.

Boredom Is Not Bad At All
Do you wonder what the boredom does or affect our body? Here's why boredom isn't bad at all. The research suggests that boredom is a valuable mental tool that allows us to refresh our thoughts. Usually there's a reason we tune things out. A good example is droning lecturers, by filtering the incoming world around us, and that tendency helps us sort information into useful or not useful categories. Science also shows that the brain, far from shutting down during those distracted moments. It's actually consuming 5% less energy than when fully engaged. So the next time you feel like or found yourself staring into space, sit awhile. Give yourself a break.

Daily Visits
As a blogger we support each other by visiting each others blog right? Why some people asked for link exchange and after you added them and visit them every day they are not doing the same thing for you? What do you call those people then? Oh well just want to let everyone know that I'm going to visit you one more time and if I don't get the same responds from you I will delete you. It should be give and take but I guess some of you don't know that. I appreciate a lot of people who always visit me like we should all do. One Filipina gave me this idea and she have a point. So yeah I will clean up my friends list tomorrow. I will do the same to my other blog. I'm not doing this to be mean I'm just saying we should support each other. Okay enough of this. I will visit all in my list now. Enjoy your weekend everyone! Stay safe!

One More Reason To Avoid Soda
Are you one of those people who likes to drink soda? If you are one of many people who likes to drink soda any time of the day, in any meal, you better read this. Researchers from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences found that drinking two or more dark-colored sodas (such as colas, either regular or diet)per day doubled the risk of kidney disease. The risk did not increase with clear sodas. The researchers explain that the phosphoric acid in colas, that increases their acidity and gives them their unique taste, may encourage the development of kidney stones. Which may lead to kidney disease. Next time you have the urge to drink soda, try to think about what it will do to your body. We only have one body, we should learn to take care of it in any possible ways.

Sweet Tooth Equals Genes
Wonder why you can't stop eating sweets? The University of Toronto researchers think they know why. The gene variation may make it hard for the body to sense blood sugar changes, so the brain doesn't get the signal to stop eating. In a new study, people with a genetic quirk drank 44 percent more sugary drinks, ate 34 percent more sweets and consumed 100 to 200 more calories a day from the extra sugar. It's not a surprise these people weighed more and had bigger waists. So far no remedy for this issue but try carefully counting your overall calories so you have room for an occasional slice of heaven.

Let You Know
I'm sorry guys for not posting new topic yet. I've been busy like I said to my other blog. I've been busy packing our stuff that we are going to bring with us, the rest we sold it. Speaking of sold, we did the garage sale today! We sold the stereo and some baby stuff. We still have 2 TV's to sell, some baby stuff and a computer desk. We sold our couch the other day too and same with our dining set. Maybe you're wondering why we are selling our stuff. Here's the answer to that. We are moving to a small apartment and if we are going to bring all our stuff it's not going to fit. That's why we need to get rid of it. We are just going to buy new stuff that will fit in our new place. Sigh.. this is very hard for me. Thank God my hubby is off for 3 days so he can help me to pack. To tell you the truth I'm exhausted not just physically but emotionally and mentally I'm drained. I'm thinking new place no friends and need to meet new ones. It's not easy for me cause I'm a shy person. I know I will end up staying inside the house most of the time. Plus the fact that I don't drive yet Oh yes this will be very hard for me. You probably saying then learn to drive. It's not easy because I've never been driving in the Philippines and I just now need to learn. Oh well..

Walking Off that Belly Fat
We all know that walking is a good exercise. There's something you might want to do to give your waistline and other parts of your body a serious trimming. Adding these three road-tested ways to your ordinary walking can stroll off those pounds. Here's what you need to do.
Do Plyometrics: When you add bounding, jumping and skipping moves to your walking that is what you called plyometrics. When you do this you'll burn up to twice as many calories and more belly fat per minute than just walking at a moderate pace.
Make it work for you
1. Walk 15 minutes, building to a moderate pace.
2. Do 30 High-Knee Steps forward (alternating legs); skip for 30 seconds then walk at a moderate pace for 1 minute.
3. Do 15 Traveling Lateral Squats (turn and move sideways as you squat)in slow motion. Followed by 5 squat jumps (squat slightly, then swing arms up as you jump). If you got knee problems, do these instead. Rise up on your toes instead of jumping.
4. Walk at a moderate pace for 10 minutes.
5. Repeat step 2.
6. Walk for 5 minutes at a moderate pace, then 5 minutes at a slow pace to cool down.
Hills: Walking on hills can burn tons of calories and fat, so you'll work that stomach pooch off faster than you would on flat terrain. Uphill walks are great for strengthening and shaping your lower half. Plus you will feel stronger and go faster on level ground.
Make it work for you
Change your walking routine. Twice a week replace 25 percent of your flat route with short gradual hills. If you're new in walking, start with 20 minutes that include 5 minutes of hills. After two weeks seek out longer or steeper hills and add 10 percent more climbing each week. Your goal is to do between one-half and two-thirds of your workout on hills. If you are going to use a treadmill do this. After 10 minutes warm-up, gradually increase the inclined from 0 to 2 percent for 5 to 10 minutes. Then gradually decrease the incline in the same amount of time. Finishing to 5 to 10 minutes of flat walking. Each week or two, increase the incline by 1 percent.
Intervals: Alternating moderately paced walking with short, faster-paced intervals lets you amp up your walk without tiring yourself out. By peppering in a 30-minute walk with 10 1-minute speed bursts, for example, you can nearly double your calorie burn.
Make it work for you
Warm up at an easy pace, then walk at a moderate pace for 10 minutes. Increase speed for 1 minute. Do another 3 minutes at a moderate pace, repeat one or two times. Then do 10 moderately-paced minutes. AS you get stronger add more intervals. Aiming to alternate 1-minute speed bursts with 1 minute of moderate walking.

No Time
Hi guys! I'm sorry once again for not posting new topic. I'm busy packing since Saturday. Like I said on my other blog we are moving out this place. That's why I can't post anything. I've been busy packing cause we are moving soon. I need to get this things done as soon as possible. I'm the only one who's packing everything that's why it is hard for me. My hubby can't help, he is working 6 days a week and his only day off he wants to relax. That's why I'm doing this all by my self. I can be a super woman sometimes (hehehe). Okay I think that's it for now. I'll check on you later. Have a great start of the week!
